Harris Jones & Malone, LLC (HJM) is proud to announce the hiring of Ashley N. Clark, JD as a registered lobbyist with the firm. Clark is eager to put more than a decade of experience in government and community relations, issue advocacy, property management, compliance, and contract review to work on behalf of HJM’s diverse clients. Prior to joining HJM, Clark served as the Compliance and Legislative Affairs Manager at Southern Management Companies, LLC (SMC), one of the largest and most recognizable privately-owned residential property companies in the United States. During her time there, she oversaw government relations, fair housing, risk mitigation, and regulatory compliance for over 25,000 residential units and more than 1,500 team members.
Clark holds an impressive reputation for creating meaningful partnerships throughout the State of Maryland. She holds a Juris Doctor from the Pennsylvania State University, Dickinson School of Law, and earned her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology/Anthropology with a minor in Africana Studies from Agnes Scott College.
