An experienced lobbyist, Ashlie T. Bagwell joined HJM in 2013 after spending the previous decade as a government relations professional in Annapolis and throughout Maryland. Her vast experience and excellent reputation among Maryland legislators and government officials are invaluable assets to HJM and its clients.

An experienced lobbyist, Ashlie T. Bagwell joined Harris Jones & Malone in 2013.  She has served as a government relations professional in Annapolis and throughout Maryland for over 15 years.  During that time, Bagwell has represented a large number of clients across a variety of industries and has worked extensively with companies and organizations headquartered and/or located in Montgomery County. Bagwell boasts an impressive record of accomplishments on behalf of her clients.  She attributes much of her success to her ability to work closely with clients to develop a strategic plan of action based on that client’s specific short-term and long-term goals. Bagwell takes great pride in her ability to become well-versed in clients’ issues quickly.  Her versatility has allowed her to seamlessly represent clients in a wide range of policy areas.

Bagwell earned her Bachelor of Arts degree at The University of South Carolina, South Carolina Honors College and a Master of Public Health degree from The University of South Carolina, Arnold School of Public Health.

In 2023, Bagwell was named a Top Lobbyist by the National Institute for Lobbying and Ethics.  She received the “Community Service Award” from the Maryland Government Relations Association in 2022.  Bagwell was named one of Daily Record’s “Leading Women” and in 2004 she was a recipient of the Women Information Network’s “Women of Achievement” award.
