Baltimore City Mayor Bernard C. “Jack” Young talks with Center Maryland’s Inside Out from Blackwall Hitch in Baltimore. Mayor Young discusses his efforts to reduce violent crime working with state and federal partners such as Maryland’s Division of Parole and Probation. The Mayor discusses the City’s Youthworks program that will employ 8,000 kids during the summer months, addresses the role of City Schools in preparing our students for the workforce and dealing with the squeegee boys. Mayor Jack touts the many cultural, historic and arts attractions in the City of Baltimore and calls on the citizens of Maryland to become ambassadors for the City.
